At the La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology, our renowned team of scientists is working diligently to unlock the secrets of the immune system, which hold the key to many of society's most debilitating illnesses. Medical advancements over the last 20 years have shown that the immune system plays a role in nearly every disease and allergy - from infectious diseases and rheumatoid arthritis to Type 1 juvenile diabetes to cancer.
